ABOUT PNIC
PNIC, Certification Center of Nondestructive Testing and Inspection was established under the decision of PHATECO Technical Services Joint Stock Company, which is an organization certifying individual competence in non-destructive testing (NDT) and welding skills. The PNIC 9712 personnel certification program has been accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17024 / ISO 9712 by the Bureau of Accreditation (BOA) (a member of the PAC and IAF MLA Mutual Recognition Agreement) directly under the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam.

TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS
PNIC's team of staffs are experts and engineers at local and abroad, with NDT Level 3 qualifications and other in-depth related sectors, with extensive practical experience in large and international projects, such as petrochemical, chemical, floating projects, drilling rigs, thermal power projects, etc.
FIELD OF ACTIVITIES
1. Implement the individual competency certification meeting international standards:
a. Level 1, 2 & 3 non-destructive testing personnel certification.
- ISO 9712: Nondestructive Testing – Qualification and Certification of Personnel
- SNT-TC-1A: ASNT Recommended Practice - Personnel Qualification and Certification in Nondestructive Testing and ASME Section V - Nondestructive Testing.
b. Certification of welding skills
- ISO: International welding standard.
- AWS: American Steel Welding Standard
- ASME Section IX: Welding, Brazing & Fusing Qualifications
- TCVN: National standard for qualification and certification of welding skills
2. Certification and confirmation of equipment calibration
3. Non-destructive testing equipment
- X-ray, Gamma-ray defect detection equipment (RT)
- Ultrasonic flaw detector (UT), electromagnetic principle - ultrasonic (EMAT)
- Ultrasonic thickness measuring device (UTM), electromagnetic principle - ultrasonic (EMAT)
- Equipment for detecting defects by magnetic particle method (MT)
- Standard blocks, MT instruments, liquid penetrant testing (PT)
- And other tools and equipment.
Inspected and certified in accordance with ASME, ASTM, ISO, etc, standards.
4. Post Weld Heat Treatment Equipment (PWHT)
- Certificate of inspection of instruments, measuring and recording equipment in the field.
5. Human resource training:
- Inspection / supervisor of pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, refractory equipment, boilers according to API standards
- Welding inspector/supervisor (AWS)
- QC quality control staff.
- And other programs.
6. Provide human resources for supervision and inspection with appropriate certificates and experience.
